FactionsThe noble tribe of Lindel in the tranquil eastern forest.

The noble tribe of Lindel in the tranquil eastern forest.

They headed towards the eastern forest, following the quiet and wise Divine Beast, 'Berbet'.

The sword, the Divine Beast Berbet, resembling a puma, did not significantly intervene in the lives of the Lindels, unlike other Divine Beasts. It merely lay on the branches of the great tree, the Tree of Life 'Yggdrasil', which grew tall enough to pierce the sky, observing them.

However, while not intervening, Lindels did not prevent others from seeking wisdom or knowledge. Rather, he imparted to them the vast knowledge he possessed.

Although the east was filled with dense forests that could even obscure the sky, it possessed the best conditions among the places where the three tribes resided, when considering the environment alone.

Could it be because of that?

The lives of the Lindels were neither as passionate as those of the Harakans nor as intense as those of the Geullasions.

Most of them did not even welcome living in groups. Rather, it would be more accurate to say that they did not feel the necessity to form groups.

Since the ground was covered with trees and plants, sweet fruits were scattered throughout the forest, and there were not many monsters threatening them. Perhaps because it was not difficult to find food and survive, they enjoyed living alone.

I settled in the tranquil forest and explored the wisdom and knowledge passed down from Berbet.

The term "a solitary and noble race" was attached for this reason.

The change was not limited to that alone.

As they explored the knowledge imparted by Berbet, they focused more on spiritual growth than on physical existence. Perhaps for this reason, they gradually forgot their age. Living a slow life rather than an intense one, their lifespan also gradually increased.

It was a change brought about by the magic contained within the knowledge they were exploring.

The people of Lindel were scattered throughout the eastern forests, practicing magic and seeking knowledge as they lived.
